Her expression dropped the puzzlement and just became a frown when he spoke up again, though, and she shifted in her seat a little uncomfortably. Her first reaction, denial, wasn't at all credible. She couldn't say "You don't know I haven't been going!" because she had practically not moved from this room in the last three days.
