Adrien drew the covers back immediately to help her, then realized that he'd probably drop everything if he touched her. He couldn't even get himself up steadily, how could he help her carry things?

Instead he held out his hands worriedly, helped her to balance it as the settled it all on the bed.

"That was close," he agreed with a laugh. "You didn't have to bring it all in one trip, you know. I could have waited."

His smile was admiring.
